On Thursday, July 4th, 2019, the 54 participants in the Greek and English courses that took place since October 2018 at the Center for Social Integration and Employability of Caritas Hellas in Kipseli celebrated the completion of their courses for this year.
The emotion and joy were great, both by the students and the adult educator. Students completed their studies at different levels of study in both Greek and English language (A0, A1, A2, B1). Notable was the great success of the “read and write” group, for people who speak Greek, but they did not know how to write and read.
The participants received their attestations with enthusiasm and pride, enjoying the ceremony with their classmates, taking photos and laughing with their success.
At the end we left with the promise that students and employees of Caritas Hellas will see each other again back in the classrooms at the beginning of the new school year! !
The language classes are part of the Program “Social and Economic Integration of Refugees and Immigrants in Athens” concerning the support and integration of refugees and immigrants in Greek society. The Program is implemented by Caritas Hellas and is funded by Caritas Switzerland
