On Tuesday 16th of April, with the initiative of the Social Spot of Neos Kosmos, Caritas Hellas, conducted an environmental volunteer activity, for cleaning the beach Loutra of Alimos. The goal was to honor the International Earth Day on the 22nd of April and participate to the viral challenge “trashtag”, a movement to raise awareness concerning the protection of the planet. More than 50 beneficiaries along with the employees of Caritas Hellas, from the Social Spots and the Shelters, were present and gathered 20 trash bags of garbage from the beach.
Afterwards, a picnic followed, where Caritas Hellas offered snacks and beverages to the benefiaries and all together enjoyed the sun in the clean beach, walking and playing volleyball plentifully.
