On Tuesday, April 16, beneficiaries of the Center of Social Integration and Employability of Caritas Hellas in Kipseli gathered to attend a seminar devoted to the social benefits provided by the Greek state to the population that lives and works in Greece.
In the course of the seminar, the financial counsellor of Caritas Hellas analyzed the various types of social benefits, certain discounts and special tariffs for economically vulnerable populations, the provision of financial aid to the unemployed, the taxation process in Greece and the non-taxable income.
In the end, the Social Services of Caritas Hellas presented generally the other supplies of items offered by different organizations or public bodies to those in need, such as clothing, baby care articles, personal hygiene items, etc.
The turnout of the people that participated was tedious as it confirms that successfully the team of the Social Center of Caritas Hellas understands the beneficiaries and manages to adapt its services to their needs.
The seminar is part of the Program “Social and Economic Integration of Refugees and Immigrants in Athens” concerning the support and integration of refugees and immigrants in Greek society. The Program is implemented by Caritas Hellas and is funded by Caritas Switzerland.
