The job counselor of the Center for Social Integration and Employability of Caritas Hellas in Kipseli, held a “Soft Skills Training” on Friday 19th of April. The experiential and collaborative training was conducted with the participants of the vocational training on Social Media Marketing that Caritas Hellas is organizing in cooperation with Odyssea, who were trained in order to be prepared for the labor market, in the following subjects:
- Professional self-awareness
- Decision making
- Time management / Goal Setting
- Team work building
- Emotions management
- Stress management
- Motivation / Happenstance
The participants attended the trainings with great interest, asked questions and shared their personal experiences. The results of the trainings for the participants were to be aware of how to cultivate the soft skills needed for their personal and professional life, to receive support for issues they face while seeking for a job and to strengthen their professional profile in order to facilitate their employability and job placement. After completing the trainings, the beneficiaries were certified for their participation by Caritas Hellas.
The workshop is part of the Program “Social and Economic Integration of Refugees and Immigrants in Athens” concerning the support and integration of refugees and immigrants in Greek society. The Program is implemented by Caritas Hellas and is funded by Caritas Switzerland.
