The job counselor of Carita’s Hellas Social Center in Neos Kosmos, held “Soft Skills Trainings”

On Wednesday 15/5 for farsi speakers. Un-accompanied minors – coming from Elaionas Safe Zone run by Greek Council for Refugees/GCR – participated in experiential and collaborative trainings, through a soft-skills-based approach, in order to be familiar into the process of entering the labour market.

The participants attended the trainings with great interest, asked questions and shared their personal experiences. The results of the trainings for the participants were to be aware of how to cultivate the soft skills needed for their personal and professional life, to receive support for issues they face while seeking for a job and to strengthen their professional profile in order to facilitate their employability and job placement. After completing the trainings, the beneficiaries were certified for their participation by Caritas Hellas.

The seminar is part of the «METAVASIS Project – Participation, Empowerment and Social Inclusion of Refugees / Migrants in Greece» concerning the support and integration of refugees and immigrants in Greek society. The Project is run by Caritas Hellas and is funded by Caritas Germany.
