The beneficiaries of Kypseli Center expressed big interest on Greek Citizenship issue

On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, the 1st Informational Seminar entitled “Greek Citizenship – Terms and Conditions” was held with great success at the Center for Social Integration and Employability of Caritas Hellas in Kypseli, with simultaneous interpretation in French, for the French-speaking population. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the way in which one acquires Greek citizenship as well as the terms and the naturalization process.

Initially, the formal and substantive conditions that need to be met for the application and the declaration for naturalization were examined, followed by an interesting discussion concerning the procedures and the necessary documents to be submitted. Later on, emphasis was given on the procedure of the interview about the Greek language and culture, to which particular attention should be paid, and at the end of the seminar there were questions from the participants.

The seminar is part of the Program “Social and Economic Integration of Refugees and Immigrants in Athens” concerning the support and integration of refugees and immigrants in Greek society. The Program is implemented by Caritas Hellas and is funded by Caritas Switzerland.

The seminar was held at the Center for Social Integration and Employability of Caritas Hellas, in the Kypseli Municipal Market, with the support of the Cosmos of Culture.
