The theatrical group of the Social Spot of Caritas Hellas presented “Odyssey” in two exquisite performances

The homecoming journeys include a sense of nostalgy but also a hope that lights the way…

The home seeking journeys carry a pain for the country that was lost but also a longing for the country that will be…

The soul seeking journeys are the longest…

This play was for all who, regardless of nationality, race, gender, skin colour, seek “home”…

For a second year in a row, the *Theatrical Group of the Social Spot in Neos Kosmos, presented, with great success at the 10th and 11th of June 2019, to the PK theater, the theatrical play “Odyssey”.

After 8-month meetings, theatrical play, relaxation and elocution exercises, improvisations and many hours of exploring and understanding the ancient Greek mythology, the theatrical group of Caritas Hellas met with “Odyssey”. The connection with the journey, the search of a homeland, the wandering, the foreign lands, the anticipation, the fight for a life, are the facts that led the participants of the performance to this play.

Friends and family saw the play with joy and most of them touched, as they wished that this is only the beginning of a fine career in Greece.

The journey of Odysseas, the journey of No one, is a journey returning to Ithaka. Ithaka, in any way that can be conceived at the personal journey of seeking the homeland.
