On Thursday the 20th of June 34 beneficiaries from the Social Center of Caritas Hellas in Neos Kosmos, as well as from the Center for Social Integration and Employability of Caritas Hellas in Kipseli, celebrated together the World Refugee Day. The students of Greek and English lessons, together with beneficiaries from other groups visited the Museum of Acropolis, which had 10-year anniversary from the opening day of the Museum.
Right before the group entered the museum, they discussed a few things regarding the Museum, its history, the exhibits inside of it as well as the history of the Temple of Parthenon. Then, the beneficiaries of the two Social Spots, wondered around the Museum, admired the exhibits, which are more than 300, enjoyed their time taking photos and watched a video about the construction of the Parthenon Temple. At the end, there was a follow up discussion about the Greek history and the context of the Museum, and the beneficiaries stated that they anticipate the next excursion.
