On Wednesday 8th of May, the legal counsellor of Caritas Hellas, Ms Andriana Mardaki conducted a training about the “Rights in the everyday life of the refugee” at the Social Spot of Neos Kosmos.
During the training, the participants -unaccompanied minors from the Shelter of International Organization of Migration, had the chance to be informed regarding their rights in everyday life, in work places, in accommodation, education and health. They took an interest to the training and at the end they received a guide, regarding the rights in the everyday life of a refugee, asylum seeker, immigrant, translated in English, Arabic and farsi.
The seminar is part of the «METAVASIS Project – Participation, Empowerment and Social Inclusion of Refugees / Migrants in Greece» concerning the support and integration of refugees and immigrants in Greek society. The Project is run by Caritas Hellas and is funded by Caritas Germany.
