Visit of the “LIKE” European Network to the Social Spots of Caritas Hellas in Kipseli and Neos Kosmos

On the 10th  and 11th of April 2019, a group of about 20 members of the European culture network “LIKE” visited the Social Spot of Neos Kosmos and Kipseli.  At Kipseli Municipal Market, they were guided around the Market by the Impact Hub Athens and then participated in a discussion with the Municipal Market participants, presenting the various actions of the area, with a stronger emphasis on the activities involving refugees and immigrants with culture and also contribute to their integration into the Greek society and the neighborhoods of Athens.

The Project Manager of Kipseli spoke about the work of Caritas Hellas generally, and then focused on the operation and services of the Center for Social Integration and Employability that operates in the Kipseli Municipal Market since October 2018.

On the 11th of April they visited the Social Spot of Neos Kosmos, where the Project Manager described the services that are offered in the Social Spot and the cultural activities that are actualized, such as the theatrical group, the photography seminar and the youth group “Discover Athens”.

Afterwards, the members of “Like” network have participated in experiential-interactive games with the participants of the theatrical group, aiming get acquainted and exchange ideas with each other. The participants got to know each other, had joyful time and fun and renewed their appointment for the next visit of “LIKE” network.
