On Thursday the 13th of December, a visit to the Center for Social Integration and Employability of Caritas Hellas in Kypseli was carried out by the students of Athens “Second Chance” School of OKANA, at the initiative of the Career Advisor and the Social Worker of the School.
The students of the school were introduced to the services of the Kypseli Center and especially the facilities offered to vulnerable groups in this new area of the Kypseli Municipal Market. A great interest was observed concerning the procedures followed during the Job Counseling as well as the opportunities for people wishing to engage in Social Entrepreneurship.
The trainees then payed a visit to the Kypseli Municipal Market, where they came into contact with the Social, non-profit Businesses operating in the Market, learning more about the procedures needed for the setting up of such an enterprise. The day was particularly constructive and encouraging for these students in their endeavors to re-enter working life.
